bonding570x322To maintain and renew Parent-Child Mother Goose Program® certification, the P-CMGP recommends participation in a Level Two training workshop every two years. Other training opportunities such as gatherings and some conference sessions are also recommended.


Building on Your Experience in the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program®
This one-day workshop for individuals with some experience teaching in a Parent-Child Mother Goose program will:

  • Refresh and revitalise the teaching of and approach to using rhymes and songs in the program
  • Provide program teachers with new material to use
  • Reconnect teachers with the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program Network
  • Respond to program teachers’ joys and challenges
  • Share best practices.

Storytelling in the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program®

This one-day workshop for individuals with some experience teaching in a Parent-Child Mother Goose program will:

  • Inspire participants to learn and tell stories
  • Give program teachers practice in storytelling
  • Build skills and confidence
  • Provide participants with stories they can use in the program.

Your Grandma & My Grandma: Connecting Cultures through the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program®
This one-day workshop is open to everyone who works with young children and does circle time with children and/or families. This workshop will focus on:

  • Helping parents share rhymes, songs and stories, as well as their experiences with this material
  • Working with groups with participants from many cultures or one culture
  • Working bilingually and with many languages in a group
  • Drawing on and learning to share oral material from your own background as a teacher in the P-CMG.
